The 2012 installation of permanent markers on all sections in St. Mary’s Cemetery allows people to easily navigate the Cemetery to find the graves of their family members or friends. A young parishioner organized volunteers to put the posts in and mount directional signs for his Eagle Scout project. More than 20 wooden posts were placed in concrete and metal signs attached to mark each area.
With the completion of this project, those wishing to locate a grave in the Cemetery will have not only easier access but also a more pleasant task.
