Liturgical ministers are scheduled for their preferred Mass time and are on the schedule until they request to be taken off. Family members will be scheduled for the same Mass when possible, unless requested otherwise.
Please see the left side of this page to access information on the Ministry Schedule. The schedule is made for three months at a time.
If you wish to consider any of the ministries below, please contact the parish office at 701-223-5562.
Altar Server
Boys and girls in grades 4 through high school may volunteer in this ministry. Altar servers reverently assist the celebrant and deacon during Sunday Mass and at special liturgies throughout the year. Boys and girls in grades 5, 6, 7, 8 and high school may volunteer in this ministry.
Greeter/Usher
Being a welcoming community is very important to us. Volunteers in this ministry greet all who come into our church, offer assistance to those in need, distribute parish bulletins, take up the collection, and distribute other materials as needed.
Lector
Lectors proclaim the Word of God clearly and understandably so that all who hear may respond.
Gift Bearer
The gift bearers present the offerings of Bread and Wine to the priest in preparation of the Eucharist.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
These lay people are sometimes referred to as Eucharistic Ministers. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve by assisting the priest in distributing the Eucharist at Mass. They are commissioned for three years.
Holy Communion to Homebound and Care Centers
Help on a regular basis or on an as-needed basis. Eucharistic ministers are assigned to a homebound parishioner in their neighborhood on a weekly bassis that is convenient for both individuals.
